First and Second class had a fabulous time at the Limetree Theatre last Thursday. They went to see Spongebob the Musical and it was a fantastic experience! There was great excitement with singing on the bus to and from the Limetree Theatre and the show was mesmerising!!

We have been doing lots of chatting recently about how important it is to be proud of you and all the things that make you, you! One thing we have introduced is 'Requesting a Selfie' of work we are proud of, just look at all the wonderful things we have been proud of this week. Well done everyone!
We had a really great day last Friday celebrating our first Wellness Day in Knockea. We had a talent show, show and tell, and we walked a mile with a smile with Rang a Trí. Our favourite part of the day without a doubt was our cosy afternoon!!
Second class have been learning a lot about the Blizzard of 1947 over the last couple of weeks. This week we put ourselves in the shoes of the people who lived through this terrible blizzard and wrote some diary entries. We also did some research to find out some facts about what happened and we also tapped into our artisitic sides and drew some very interesting photos of the blizzard. Well done everyone, you did a brilliant job!

Our preparations for 1st Holy Communion will begin now as we enter Term 2. Pease note the days for the Do This in Memory masses for this year. These are the normal parish masses on Sunday which the children attend with their families.
