A reminder about our No Smartphone Voluntary Code. We hope that all families involved in the 3 local schools and the 2 local GAA clubs will sit down together and discuss the code and then make a decision on signing the charter. While it is voluntary in nature, we are very hopeful that you will give it some serious consideration.
Huge congrats to our Student Council and 6th Class pupils who ran our Christmas Jumper and Bake Sale last Friday. It was a huge success and everyone truly enjoyed the occasion.

Huge congratulations to this fantastic 6th class student who is part of the East Limerick girl's football squad. They played the West Team in the semi-final on Thursday 13th November and had a great win. She will play with her fantastic teammates in the Gaelic Grounds next Wednesday in the final. Maith thú! Best of luck to the team and to Ms Reilly who is a coach with the team.

All the boys and girls enjoyed our 'Le Chéile' hour today organised by our student council. It was a great success and a great way to celebrate playing and working together and most of all having fun!! The childen got to play in different classrooms and meet all the teachers and SNAs in our school! Activities in the Junior Classes included Jigsaws, Lego, Dance and Penalty Shoot Out. Those in the Senior Classes played Lego, Chess, Basketball and Blooket on the Chrome books. A lovely way to start off our Health Promotion Week!
Huge thanks to one of our parents' Maureen Prendergast and Regeneron for kindly thinking of us and supplying us with a beautiful set of jerseys! Our boys and girls will most certainly look the part in our upcoming sporting outings.

Our Knockea student council are managing the organising of the shoeboxes for children less fortunate this year. Each family received a flyer last Thursday with all the information on how to put the shoebox together and what to include. The shoeboxes must be brought back to school by 10th November.
