No Smartphone Voluntary Code - a community effort!

A reminder about our No Smartphone Voluntary Code. We hope that all families involved in the 3 local schools and the 2 local GAA clubs will sit down together and discuss the code and then make a decision on signing the charter. While it is voluntary in nature, we are very hopeful that you will give it some serious consideration.

Inclusive Athletics Day in UL - 7th May 2026

Our own Mr. Niall Shanahan organised another wonderful Inclusive Athletics event in UL this year which was attended by 750 students from across Limerick City & County. This is a special, magical, fun day designed to be a safe, happy and inclusive place for all kids to enjoy 80m races, obstacle courses, tug of war, soccer, parachute fun, to mention but a few of the activities. All children received medals, got to experience a variety of sports from golf, rugby, rowing and tennis. Everyone was treated to a live performance from a magician, and there was an endless supply of ice-cream!

New multi-purpose space in development......information below

This term we are hoping to restructure one of the spaces in the school to be used as a multi-purpose room. Our aim is to create a space which is calm, quiet, comfortable and available to any child that may need a break from the hustle and bustle of the school day and avail of some down-time. We are so grateful for the support you gave for our Easter raffle which the Student Council organised before the holidays. This raffle raised an amazing €1241 and we will use this money now to cover the cost of repurposing the space for use as a "downtime/sensory room" . Without the monies raised and your support , we would not be in a position to be able to consider doing this. The aim here always is to use all the space we have within the school to benefit all our pupils.
