Our Knockea N.S Student Council have been getting down to work, making sure that the voice of the pupils in our school can be heard and represented in the decisions we make.
We have 16 fantastic boys and girls from Junior Infants right up to 6th Class, all nominated by their classmates to represent their class on the council. Our chairperson is Christopher Gerety from 6th class and our secretary is Molly Keane, also from 6th Class.
At the moment, we are finishing the pupil input into our Bí Cinéalta policy which has led to some very interesting and useful conversations. We are also looking at an event that the student council will run before the summer holidays.......details to follow!
