Active Stations

During the year we set up active stations. Ms. Kirby divided us into groups and each group had to come up with an ativity for our station. We were allowed to use the equipment in the store room. It was great fun coming up with the various games. We did the active stations with 1st class and they really enjoyed the activities we set up for them.

Active Walkway

In Term 3 I set up an Active Walkway around the school. This involved ten stations where the children and staff had to do a physical activity at each station i.e. jumping jacks. There was also a riddle that children had to figure out at each station. Everyone really enjoyed it and we will do it again next year.
