This week we  learned about the three main groups of worms and went on a worm hunt around our school grounds to see what we could find. We collected some for our wormery, which now has 28 wriggly worms! It’s been fascinating to watch our slimy friends in action as they burrow, improve drainage, and enrich the soil with their nutrient-packed casts.

5th Class treated us to a living museum of famous scientists throughout the years.

We learned about acids and bases and carried out experiments to test different household items to see which ones were acidic and which ones were bases.
